CIMEJES-Partner speaker at International Legal Debate on Financing and Refinancing Companies in the Prospective of Insolvency in Geneva. September 17-18, 2004 Cimejes-Partner Michael Martinez Ferber has been appointed speaker at the Geneva Symposium "Financing and Refinancing Companies in the Prospective of Insolvency - International Legal Debate" on September 17-18, 2004 in Geneva. The event addresses renowned professors, judges, auditors, bankers, entrepreneurs, trustees, receivers, lawyers and other stakeholders and is held under the auspices of the University of Geneva (www.unige.ch/droit/insolvency-symposium2004). The symposium fosters an academic debate among experts. It is of global interest to create a legal environment, which stimulates investment and refinancing of promising companies, and to find solutions to inadequate insolvency legislation in countries around the world. The conference is based on three pillars : 1) Perspectives from entrepreneur and investor point of view, 2) the adequacy of legal system and possible solutions, 3) conclusion, with the publication of a white paper.
