Speeches at 5th Leipzig Insolvency Congress

At the 5th Leipzig Insolvency Congress on February 23, 2004 Cimejes was represented by three partners: Ditmar Weis and Michael Martinez Ferber, both from Germany, and Konrad Schampera from Wroclaw, Poland.

Mr. Weis was a co-speaker on "Transaction Avoidance in Insolvency Procedure - Latest Developments" together with the Hon. H.P. Kirchhof, former judge at the German Supreme Court and Dr. Zeuner, German Attorney. Mr Martinez Ferber was on the panel and Mr. Schampera was another co-speaker in the international section of the congress focussing on the latest developments in Polish insolvency law.

The congress that has been taking place annually since 1999 was very well attended with approximately 300 colleagues. A brochure including the speeches and discussion will appear later this year and can be ordered through www.leipziger-insolvenzrechtstag.de (in German).
